Ph.D. Oceanography, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, U. Cal. San Diego,

Experience: Observation and analysis of: Pacific and Aantarctic deep water
tides, internal waves, turbulence, shelf circulation/transport from bottom
pressure, Gulf of Maine water property formation and circulation, fish
recruitment on Georges Bank, sediment transport under wave influence, Western
Gulf of Maine ocean climatology, air-sea gas fluxes, aquaculture fish cage and
fish feeding systems, and mooring and buoy response to environmental forcing.
Specialities: Moored buoys, bottom mounted instrumentation, satellite telemetry,
and "smart" instrumentation. Observational interests include ocean currents,
temperature, salinity, pressure, dissolved oxygen, CO2, acoustic and optical
observations of sediment transport, acoustical detection of fish via swim
bladder resonance, mooring tensions and modeling, buoy response measurement.
Data analysis (correltaions, statisics, spectral, and tidal).
